Financial
As an employee of John Milton Academy Trust (JMAT) you are automatically enrolled into membership of either the Teachers' Pension Scheme, or for support staff, the Local Government Pension Scheme. As well as employee's paying contributions into the scheme (banded, based on earnings level) JMAT also pays into the scheme on your behalf (regardless of earnings):
Teachers' Pension Scheme
JMAT contributes an additional 23.68% of your salary.
Support Staff Pension Scheme
LGPS - JMAT contributes a minimum of 26.8% of your salary.

Pay
We provide performance based pay progression for most grades and apply national pay awards for both teaching and support staff.
Holidays and Family Friendly Working
Holiday Entitlement (Support Staff)
Holiday entitlement is based on Grade and length of service (pro rata for part-time employees).
Less than 5 years service
Grades 1 - 8: 24 days holiday entitlement per year plus bank holidays
More than 5 years service
Grades 1-4: 28 days holiday entitlement per year plus bank holidays
Grades 5-8: 29 days holiday entitlement per year plus bank holidays

Staff Development
The Trust and each school are committed to your development. We have regular trust-wide training sessions as well as opportunities for professional development through CPD and apprenticeship programmes.
When you start in your role you will be supported by a tailored induction process. Staff are supported by regular performance management meetings and appraisals.
